Earthquake 3D App Reviews

It would be better if there were more options to share (and good for app sales). The fist thing that comes to mind: Produce a gif of the time laps (view three) to post on Tumblr, Reddit, Twitter, etc.

Worked on IPAD for a few days - now it always says theres no internet connection, and this is the enhanced app

Errors. So the past 4 days or so says there are connection issues or the source may be bad. I have no issues with the Internet and the sources of which there are 5 I believe are all working in tandem to give me data thru this app. Either fix this issue or refund me. There is nothing wrong on my need this app has worked flawlessly for a good 2 months now there is nothing!!!

The data is not available to my app for the past week. It worked great for three to four weeks. Shows it is not connected to Internet or data not available try again later. Very frustrating.

The app will not connect to the internet with some of the data sources selected. It was working fine until the update was installed.

Cannot get onto site due to error on there part

This App was great, though for the last month or so it will not connect, stating connection issues. We have no internet issues and the only data that will connect it will connect to is the European UK, Data stream. So I have to give it a Thumbs down and we purchased this app.. to bad great idea, and it was very interesting and a lot of fun when it did work.. Fix it and I can give you a thumbs up. LOL of course unless something is going to explode and the higher-ups do not want us to know..

The app was pretty decent -- 3.5, perhaps 4 stars when it worked. I paid to also install it on my PC. Now that it no longer connects with the USGS, it is nearly useless. Aargh!

Eye-appealing and great for people like me that are very visual and do better with pictures and videos than text. There are so many options. Takes a few days to get the feel of how it all really works. So far I trust this app. UPDATE: 6/10/15 Waiting patiently for the next update to fix the USGS connection issues. Really hope it gets resolved.

Edit- quick response promising update when Apple approves. USGS changed settings. 4 stars as long as update comes through. Worked for a week and then lost ability to connect with USGS. Even if this is a result of USGS changing things an update should fix this or money should be refunded.

I understand the usgs changed their feeds, thats why the app cant connect to the feed, but there is still no update in the App Store! Since this a paid app Id think that theyd have been more on top of getting the update out. The creator said it was pending approval, but its been way longer than he said. Now Im left wondering how long is it going to be, and if they dont approve it soon are they going to give me my money back considering I was only able to use it for 3days before it lost the feed?! Its useless without the usgs feed.

The app is working now totally and perfectly. Playing with the settings let me set up really cool looking displays - I love the quake animated sequencing. This app rocks. No better earthquake monitoring app in the store.

The concept is awesome but from pictures and description I was expecting something much closer to google earth as far as globe interaction. The globe is just a low rez image, you get NO detail if you zoom in. For a $7 app Im beyond horribly disappointed. Overlaying the EQ data over an actual interactive map would have been worth the price, I will delete this app & ask for a refund. On the surface its cool but after 45 seconds buyers remorse set in. Wish there was NEGATIVE stars to rate this app with.

MysticCub seems to have missed the whole point. This app is about the macro, not the micro. This is not google Earth. BTW, a one star review for an app with so much depth, detail, and wonderful innovation is the mark of a troll. IF YOU TOUCH ANY OF THE EARTHQUAKE FLAGS, a popup window with an option "MAP" will take you to the epicenter of the Earthquake on an actual google map with all the details you expect on a FLAT map. Also on the same options popup, you can select DETAILS which will often include a number of specialized seismic maps and information. VERY detailed. Another option on this popup that I like to use is the NEWS option which will quickly take you to Yahoo News for the latest wire-service news stories about larger Earthquakes. Very convenient.

Worth the money!! You will not be disappointed. The USGS changed their format recently and this-app required updating which was done immediately. It took iTunes over a week to approve the changes which resulted in some frustrated comments- the developer of the app was not to blame. If you want to know in real time whats happening around the globes tectonic plates- this is the best app

Is the best earthquake app ever made always up to date. Everybody make this app to help stay alert I know whats going on constantly.

I thought being an app that I paid for, it would be a reasonable app. Dont waste your money on this.

Great app. Always works for me. Never would of found this if I wasnt an avid watcher of Dutchsinces YouTube Channel. Have an earthquake plan ready!
